Red herring #1.

We are talking about your camp intentionally misusing words, not normative assessments of states.

Non-sequiter/ Red Herring #2

The state isn’t behind eptymology or linguistics.

I’m the one using proper terms. You are the one yet to find any dictionaries to agree with you.

Your truth isn’t objective as you yourself admitted that its based on faith for you (citation of 5th commandmant as understand stood by the church).
Moral truth is objective. Whether you choose to accept reality or deny it is another issue.

Murder is unlawful. The state has no authority to make mudrer legal. It has the power to do so, but that is a misuse of power.

O the irony. Im the one providing references. Your the one whining because your fantasies doesn’t match reality.

Cite the dictionary you pulled that from. That said, I don;t remember Canada, US, or Britain as being theocracies. Move to Iran if you have such a problem with seperation of Church and State.

I

Murder has only ever meant one thing. You are the one redefining the concept to deceive others.

Denying reality again I see. Murder is any killing not sanctioned by the state. Ergo, if its lawful, then it isnt lawful.

Honestly, you look crazy arguing against the dictionary.
Murder is unlawful. Unlawful also means contrary to the moral law. Please check your dictionary.

You entire argument rests on your understanding of a dictionary entry. Your understanding is limited and incomplete. The question is that intentional on your part or not?

Whether its legal or not determines if its technically murder or not.
No, whether the state allows murder or not objectively the act is murder. You think the power of the state is unlimited? The state can proscribe or prescribe anything is deems, yet that does not make it legitimate.

Abortion is murder regardless of whether any particular culture codifies that into law.

God Bless You and Thank You “hoodrat”, post # 225.
You story is very true to the vast majority of abortions. You are a true pro-life hero.

I sidewalk counsel and have watched 12,000 women walk in to murder their baby. I have personally talked to about 500 of them. I have saved 145 of them.

The most common thing that you see is that both the man and the woman want the abortion. The next most common is that the woman coerces the man MORE often than the man coerces the woman. They know it is murder and they have no fear of God and no fear of killing their baby.

Repentance after abortion is very rare, “hoodrat” has it right. According to St John The Baptist repentance is showing the “fruit of repentance” and it is also…
See what this godly sorrow has produced in you: what earnestness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what indignation, what alarm, what longing, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. 2 cr 7:11

It seems you are an authority on how women feel after they have had an abortion from your experience of how they feel when they are entering an abortion clinic.

The two thought processes are not the same.

I know that there are women who feel their choice of abortion was the best thing they did, and I also know that there are women who use abortion as a form of birth control.

However, for the MANY women who are truly repentive, you are oblivious to how they suffer in silence for years. You have the nerve to say “true repentence is very rare”

If reptenence after abortion is “very rare” why is it that Project Rachel or Rachel’s Vineyard so successful? Why is there such a great need for this service?

What is the “fruit of repentance” that you would like women who have had abortions exhibit? You never did answer my question.
