Why does Fr. Corapi wear clericals now?

I noticed that on some of his older programs, Fr. Corapi wore a habit. However, now he wears clericals. Does anyone know why he switched from a habit to clericals? Did his order quit using habits?

I heard someplace that he left the order due to the respect (or lack of) it showed the Eucharist. I might have heard it from these message boards.

According to his own website, he is still in the order.
