Could you sometimes give a brief synopsis of what these threads are about? An overview, quotes or something? Why it’s pertinent t the forum or your thoughts on it, questions you want to pose to the group?

I find it really frustrating to open a thread and have absolutely nothing there but a link.
 
i agree holyrood.
its like i’ve been given a homework assignment.

if the question/issue is important enough to post, type us a paragraph or two

this is the main reason i quit reading the ‘ask an apologist’ section.

i would see an interesting question, then the apologist’s answer was a link, and when opened, i was directed to another link, and sometimes sent to another link. annoying.

enough about that.

Yes.

It would be nice to be given a summary or a quote or two so we can get the flavor of the piece and figure out if it’s worth clicking.

Over the years it is really annoyed and insulted me that a poster has given feedback to my post in a negative unsupportive manner when the exact same poster has never had the courage to share about their struggles. After all, IMO this is a forum to exchange ideas. We are all capable to surf the net for ourselves if we want a good article to read
