Hello!
My name is Aaron, I am a baptized and confirmed catholic. My wife and I have been married for about a year, and we just got our newborn son baptized catholic. As my wife prepares to take her RCIA classes, I can’t help but wonder, why does it take so long and so many classes to become catholic? Although I will always support the church in whatever she teaches, wouldn’t the Catholic Church membership grow exponentially if it didn’t take months of classes to join? Some Christian faiths are baptizing on your first visit to the church. Just wondering. Thanks so much and God bless!
