Yes, and as people of God we do not indulge in such activities but of things that bring holiness and nearer to God. We can say that the culture of dwelling in occasion of sin is not from God but of the Evil One.Because it is an occasion of sin.
Blockquote 2354 Pornography consists in removing real or simulated sexual acts from the intimacy of the partners, in order to display them deliberately to third parties. It offends against chastity because it perverts the conjugal act, the intimate giving of spouses to each other. It does grave injury to the dignity of its participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others. It immerses all who are involved in the illusion of a fantasy world. It is a grave offense. Civil authorities should prevent the production and distribution of pornographic materials.
Thank you fide for correcting the unintentional omission on my part !” This, plus an essential contribution that only God can create, and add: an immortal human soul.
I do not advocate these views on CAF or elaborate on them because that tests the rules. But feel free to PM me.Two questions for you, if you feel like answering:
Thanks for your ideas
- Why do you think the Church “believes it is wrong to deliberately seek sexual pleasure outside marriage”?
- What “premises” do you not accept, thereby disallowing you from an otherwise “perfectly coherent set of ideas”?
Just to clarify, it is not ok to objectify or lust after anyone, including your spouse.Because you are objectifying and lusting over someone you are not married to and it leads to other sins such as masturbation
