Kneeling during Mass is an acknowledgement of Christ’s presence in the Eucharist. If a non-Catholic does not believe that Christ is God and that God becomes present under the appearances of bread and wine during the Mass, then asking him to kneel during the consecration at Mass would be an unjust imposition upon his freedom of conscience.
