**Why Evil And Suffering?
**
Why is there evil and suffering in our lives?
Why does living put us through so many tough strives?
Why can people choose to do evil to others?
Why do people hurt our dear brothers and sisters?
It comes down to free will and natural cycling,
Free will to choose to love and do the upright thing;
Nature’s cycles of creation and destruction
Permitting new objects in the re-creation.
Humanity’s finest attribute is to love,
Channeling the divine love from Heaven above,
A choice made through our free will voluntarily,
To desire the best for others eternally.
Free will goes both ways, for the good and for the bad.
We choose what we do to make others happy or sad.
Evil is a choice we select when we do ill.
It is a misuse of our God-given free will.
Nature’s destructive forces can bring suffering
Giving us more opportunities for loving,
Providing our love fertile soil in which to grow,
And allowing us to love both dear friend and foe.
God’s gift of free will and the forces of nature,
Allows evil and brings sufferings we endure,
But collectively provide a good fertile ground
For selfless love to grow deeply and spread around.
