Why God should need a messenger?

Without existence there wouldn’t be billions of eternal souls rejoicing forever in heaven.

This is way off topic, please take your discussion to another thread.
Ok. Thanks for the advice.

Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

I posted the child was resuscitated without medical intervention, only after pronounced dead for 45 minutes when the mother prayed over the boy.

Post the link to the story then.
As I told you before I already did…it is post #56 and reposted below. Any further discussion needs to be made into a new thread or a private message because we have been informed that we are off topic.
In addition to my previous post…
Here’s the story I was referring to:
usatoday.com/story/news/2…life/22883985/
In addition to not being heard of before Him, Jesus’ resurrection is even more profound in that 1) He was pronounced dead for days (long enough that no Jew would have thought possible because decomposition was known to set in…to remind us that with God all things are possible) 2) Not even the Pharaohs could resurrect their body (who deemed themselves gods)…His resurrection surpassed even the power of the Pharaoh. There were a lot of questions about God vs gods and resurrection at this time. Jesus was unifying the people in the understanding that there is only one God who is the resurrection and who loves everyone and does not want animal sacrifice but to sacrifice for the good of others…Luke 3:11 In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”

First God willed Adam into existence, then Adam sinned, then God punished him and all of mankind.

Existence came first. One that Adam had no say in the matter.
Adam gets a choice in everything, except for existence.

Without existence, there is no original sin.

Without existence, there wouldn’t be hundreds of millions of eternal souls suffering forever in hell.
That’s the chance God takes on us. Whether we choose Him or not. It’s very exciting! Choose well. 🙂

Well, hopefully, if some find destruction on the wide road they can still repent if they are still on this planet.
It didn’t say damnation, it said destruction. The Lord loves us without measure and allows us the time we need to choose Him.

Then everybody can claim that s/he is God. This is a philosophy forum and we need a definition God before we start a discussion about God.
God is the God of the Philosophers–the eternal, infinite, necessary, transcendent, immaterial, omnipotent, omniscient creator of the universe.

The only people who believe this are Christians. So about 5 billion people don’t believe Jesus was resurrected.
Actually, most of them have never heard the kerygma, so it’s incorrect to say they “don’t believe Jesus was resurrected”.

That would be like saying 5 billion people don’t believe Betsy Ross existed.

That would be clearly a false statement, no?

You can choose goodness, truth and love without believing the God of Abraham is real.
Of course. There are many noble, good atheists.

But when they evaluate their moral compass, they haven’t put the pieces together. They haven’t evaluated how it is they come to understand that “adultery is bad and monogamy is good” or “taking what doesn’t belong to me is bad” or “giving to those who are less fortunate is good”.

They simply stop thinking. Peculiarly.

I’ve already answered this. Jesus in his human form was finite. He had to be so that he could sacrifice himself for us. Jesus as the Word, the second person of the Trinity, is still God, with all the attributes that entails. Stop harping on the same tune.
So where was his divine nature when his human nature was dead?

Yes, that is the point! God did not die, although the condition of what humans call dying happened…no heart beat or organ function, He was alive in the Spirit because it is not flesh that gives life it is of the Spirit of God from God the Father in Heaven that gives life. The flesh is merely a collection of molecules made out of elements regardless of being alive or not…the same elements that make dirt (from the Earth’s crust) and water. What we believe is that it is the Spirit of God that gives life not the flesh that is a temporary stage in our life.
So where was Jesus divine nature when the human nature was dead?

So where was his divine nature when his human nature was dead?
Our creed says he descended to the dead to preach the gospel to those who had died before him. His death opened the gates of heaven, which had been closed from Adam’s disobedience. This is part of Jesus’ earthly mission. From the Catechism of the Catholic Church:
634 “The gospel was preached even to the dead.” The descent into hell brings the Gospel message of salvation to complete fulfilment. This is the last phase of Jesus’ messianic mission, a phase which is condensed in time but vast in its real significance: the spread of Christ’s redemptive work to all men of all times and all places, for all who are saved have been made sharers in the redemption.

You cannot be omnipresent when you have human nature.
You a correct! YOU, meaning all of us human beings cannot. However, God is not bound by the confines of human nature, afterall, He is the Creator! You may be brilliant in your intellect, however, you are still a human being just like the rest of us. there are limits to what we can understand and accomplish, wouldn’t you agree?

So where was Jesus divine nature when the human nature was dead?
Where ever He wants to be…it’s good to be God. Think without limits. Imagine you are pretending Ultimate All-Powerful Super Dad in your head…and whatever you wanted came true…that’s kind of like God except that He is way more loving, creative and intelligent than us.

Biblically first Jesus went to the underworld to save all those who had already died…pretty awesome to think of all humanity like that. Then He came back to life to say Hi guys, I’m not dead (for those who need to see to believe)…prophesy fulfilled…here’s some things I’m asking you to do. Then, He ascended to Heaven then sent His Holy Spirit to Earth to give us His Good Counsel. **
