Tom, at Church tonight we discussed the Eucharist
**We have one of the LDS Faith who has a major in theology and has decided to become Catholic. His wife is upset, but supports him in his decision. She also attends when she can. Tonight he began to speak about Johns Gospel chapter 6. He told the class to read the later half very carefully. I mentioned that one should also read the first part of John 6, the Miracles. Ryan said yes, but it is long, if you are going to read John 6 read the later half first. He looked around and said this. "some have said that Jesus is talking about this in the sense of a symbol until His return. But he said that in knowing Greek he was speaking anything but a symbol. The Eucharist is at the core of who we are as Christians. It is life giving and it does transform you from within. It is the very thing that has overflowed to all Christian sects in order for them to know the name of Christ. It is the one act that has kept the Passion of Christ alive. It connects all the dots, all the healing Sacraments together and holds them for all generations to come. Communion is the miracle of Miracles. Take note to John 6:66. We could talk about this Miracle. **

We can only come to know grace and truth, on the other hand Jesus is Grace and Truth.
Jesus is one Spirit with God, God is Spirit, we on the other hand have been gifted this Spirit in us.

I don’t know, but I enjoyed your discussions although didn’t engage in them. Your posts were excellent and your heart was in the right place. I know you don’t want to re-invent the wheel - but maybe start another thread focusing on some aspect of Mormonism that you would like to discuss.
By the way, you can send an email to a moderator and have your question answered (probably).
