I quess the real reason for my post earlier about Masons and KoC is that I am at odds now with the Masons. I really enjoy a lot of the things they do , but um. I don’t like the fact that there are some lodges who accept any religon and arent’ exclusively christian. I don’t like some of the politics that go on in the lodge. And some things I do find contradictory to the Bible.

I am sorry if I came off strong, deep down inside my heart is in turmoil with some of things in masonry.

I quess why I posted on here was I was seriously thinking about converting to Catholicsm and becoming a KoC. Since the KoC is suppose to be like the masons only it is purely catholic. I have many family members who are KoC and many who are Masons.

I am at odds right now. I have a long family history in both organizations. But I quess I have been leaning more to KoC because i think KoC can offer me things that I find lacking in the Masons.

And admittedly there are things that always did not settle right with me in the masons, but there is a lot I do enjoy about it.

Masonry has made me more committed to the bible but at the same time I have been always wondering about KoC and if that would be the better path to choose.

Opinions about what course of action I should pursue?

Hello,

Just want to add my two cents. I would focus on joining the Catholic Church and think about joining organizations in the Church later. God is calling you out of wherever your are now. That is a grace to be acted upon with due diligence. Put yourself and your request for guidance before Our Blessed Mother, Mary Most Holy. She will bring you into her Son's Church. Pick up a good book on the faith-Fr Ripley's "This is the Faith", the Baltimore Catechism, Catechism of the Council of Trent. Pick up a booklet on how to pray the rosary of Our Lady. Tan Books puts out many good resources/books.
I recommend as a website for what is going on in the Church/world today and how we can combat the errors of liberalism/humanism/naturalism,etc [christorchaos.com](http://christorchaos.com)
Also cmri.org
You will get pure, unadulterated truth. They are good sources as to what the Catholic Church teaches and believes.
We first must get our own house in order before we can get other people’s houses in order(through organisations and the like).
Do act on this grace to join Holy Mother Church. You will be in my prayers.

Our Lady of Providence, pray for us

Joe

In order to join the KofC, you must be a practical Catholic first, this means you need to attend the RCIA classes. These classes will enable you make a clear decision on wether you want to become a Catholic or not, and the steps necessary to do so, should you choose. The first step for this is the parish priest.
The KofC is a great, IMO, and very fulfilling in giving back to the community. Hope this helps! 👍

You should definitely get out of the Masons. They are an evil anti-Christian group, in particular anti-Catholic.

To the OP, Sublime Prince, you ought to be aware that the web sites quoted above belong to groups that are not in union with Pope Benedict XVI. In other words, they have broken away from the Catholic Church, although their followers generally believe themselves to be authentic (and often, the only(!) authentic) Catholics. They hold an ideology known as sedevacantism. I would recommend that you not get your information on Catholicism from these sources.

Thank you for answering my question as to why you were posting (constantly) about the masons - even though you’ve opened another thread to do so. Glad I happened to see it.

If the masons have led you to doubt their “Christian” stance, well and good, since they are far from Christian in philosophy and action.

I suggest that you pray for guidance from Our Lord. As another poster said, the best way to approach the Church with your questions is to approach the Church - not to go to any online site that might or might not be faithful to the Church. Talk to your cousin, the one who is a member of KoC. See where he leads you. Obviously you do have local resources available. Begin there. It is only as a practicing Catholic that one can become a member of KoC.
