I think inclusive language would not be a good thing for feminists who are so legalistic as to get rid of “men” and “man” because it sounds exclusive of women. Feminists would seem to be into liberal living and thus, not care what the Church says about divorce. Well, the Bible only says that men cannot put down their women and take up another. If you want to be legalistic, you could read that women could put down/send away/etc. their man in divorce and take up another. Of course, we know that “men” in the Bible, means humankind unless it is directed to men (but can vice versa refer to women if they could do the same kind of thing men are told not to do), but feminists seem to read it so literally and you think it would ease a liberal’s mind to think they can remarry because the Bible doesn’t say women, specifically, can’t do that either.
