Check out statistics regarding suicide, communicable diseases, drug/alcohol abuse, depression, and domestic violence pertaining to homosexual persons.

Then stay tuned while the homosexual apologists pontificate about how all these negative effects result from mean Christians oppressing homosexual persons.

It has killed millons to date. The Homsexual Lifestyle was destructive even before AIDS came along.

We should delineate between the lifestyle and the orientation. The orientation has no definable origin and does not always lead to suicide, drug use, promiscuity, AIDS, or anything else for that matter. Let’s stop and think of this in a merciful manner. Now if we want to put the lifestyle in the culture of death category that is fine but there untold numbers who suffer from the orientation who need not the criticism of other sinners in the church.

Since the homosexual act does not bring about life and can never bring about life, persons in the lifestyle add nothing to God’s creation and do not participate in it. So if life never comes from this act it leads to a dimunisation of the population and thus we see population death. Therefore homosexual acts are a part of the culture of death.

The culture of death is far wider than just the death of persons. It also covers the ageing and death of a population that has not enough newborns to replace those dying.

Homosexual sex acts are oriented not to life and procreation but to sterile acts that cannot be procreative. The promotion of such acts advances the cause of the culture of death-- sex without babies.

You speak the truth but I think we still need to heed goofyjim’s words, namely that we need to speak the truth in charity. We should love our homosexual brothers and sisters and try to bring them closer to the Lord. This means of course never endorsing or defending an active homosexual lifestyle but it also means treating them with kindness and compassion.
