Why isn't the devil in the lake of fire?

Why isn’t the devil in the lake of fire? Why hassling us and not being punished totally! how is the lake of fire different to hell anyway.🤷🤷
 
Who says he’s not?
There are many evil spirits. He has minions.
Remember Satan was once a powerful angel.
Lake of fire is a literary device, but probably fairly accurate as a description.
He spends his tome desiring and implementing our separation from God.
He works at it.

That’s why it’s important to remain in a state of grace and receive Eucharist worthily.
We need fortification to affirm Christ and reject Satan, and all his evil works.

The bible tells clearly that satan and the demons were cast down to earth, NOT to hell, they are not in hell yet, at least thats the way it was explained to me. Plus, satan has our world under his control right now and will until the second coming, the only being I know that can be in more than one place at once is God/ Jesus, satan is NOT omnipresent.

Upon the second coming they will be bound with chains, in hell I assume, since God created hell** specifically **for satan and the demons.

In Marlowe’s “Doctor Faustus,” Faustus asks the devil,
“How comes it then that thou art out of hell?”
And Mephistopheles answers,
“Why this is hell, nor am I out of it.
Think’st thou that I who saw the face of God
And tasted the eternal joys of heaven
Am not tormented with ten thousand hells
In being deprived of everlasting bliss?”
 
When God ordered Michael the cast Lucifer and all of those that followed him no matter how minor out of Heaven, they were cast out by never to hell. Hell is a domain that after Jesus rescued all the souls that wanted to leave after his crucifixion and resurrection became a punishment for those that refuted our Lord and the Trinity. Though, please keep in mind that the Natural Law that God placed in our hearts still helps people in religions that do not honor our Lord nor are they ever taught of him from hell. The Fallen Angels were cast to Earth, where they would roam until final judgment reeking nothing but pain and suffering on us humans. This is what happens when free will is in the equation, evil does evolve. A choice to do bad or good because we could not stand being in the garden of Eden as God’s chosen ones. Now I always thought that with a 3rd of Heaven bouncing off the planet, it would make one heck of a dust storm, maybe enough to wipe out the Dinosaurs??? Anyway, Lucifer’s time is coming and when it does, he will be sent to his own eternal punishment in the bowls of hell.
