Sheesh, what kind of question is this? Why one wife? I believe that, it should not be a question but, a solution. Because, it’s not because of the money and all. The truth is that, if you truly love a woman totally for who she is, and want children with her, then that is whom you married. If you want more than that, like 2-3, then it’s a sin and, you truly don’t love your wife, you don’t respect her and yourself in any way. Catholics are tough on divorces for a reason. If you say, “I Do.” at the altar, then you are committing your lives to each other. I don’t like joking about the sacredness of marriages. Even God says, whoever looks at another person with lust commits adultery, and whoever divorces his wife commits adultery. So, you are not hurting your spouse but, also you are committing a grave sin. I’m not to judge but, it’s what I know.
