Why pray to Mary?

🙂 i know the Hail Mary. at times i pray it. i read the Angelus. it is a prayer that i like.
 
James 5:16 says :Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. **The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects. **

Mary is alive and well in heaven. Revelation 12:17 says that we are her children if we obey the commandments and bear testimony to Jesus. She is the holiest person ever made by God, since she and Jesus were one flesh. She is the living tabernacle of God. And she prays for you 24/7/365, even when you are asleep. She is the one person that the devil never had any control over, and satan is still afraid of her today. Who better to pray for you than her?

i do not know how to think a person so high can be asked for things. that is what i find in my thoughts when i read this.
