Why do we need to see or be in the presence of anyone we love? Would we ever ask: why do I need to be in the presence of my spouse, parents, children, friends?
The Eucharist is the very presence of Jesus Christ and receiving communion is to bring Him into our heart, soul, and very being. Why wouldn’t we want to receive Him regularly?
