Can you give me a simple explanation as to why we chose a saints name at Confirmation? I need to explain it to someone but am having a hard time putting it into words.
We choose a name when we receive the sacrament of Confirmation so that we have a patron saint of our own choosing to pray for us as we face the challenges to our faith that come with adult life.
