Perhaps you have seen this, and if so, I apologize. But Time Magazine has a good photo essay about the nuns of Our Lady of the Rosary, which is located in Summit, New Jersey, USA.

That is so beautiful! I’ve never seen it before. 😃 Makes me yearn for religious life even more! I can’t wait to see where God planned me to be, and hopefully, it will be where I am going next week, to the Milwaukee Province of the Carmelite Sisters of the Divine Heart of Jesus.

Thanks again for posting it!

Thanks for the link! I’m going to show it to my eldest daughter. She is discerning a vocation to the religious life.

This is so beautiful!!! I just sent this out far and wide.

May God bless these holy women.

Our two cents: cloisters.tripod.com/

The more wretched the world becomes in sin, the more contemplatives God calls to appease His wrath. The women (and some men) aren’t choosing–God has chosen and they have responded.

Granted, not all will make it to final profession, but for those who do, what a blessing for all of us.

Blessings,
Cloisters
