You’re welcome. I’m glad it was clear. You can’t imagine how many people get so confused when we teach that Mother Angelica is a nun and that Mother Teresa is a sister, because the media never gets it right.

Males are even more complicated. NOOOOOOO, not becaue they’re men. The diversity of callings is what enriches the Church.

Yea - thanks JReducation - you took some time and explained all that clearly.

I’ve started listening to Christoper West’s Naked Without Shame. This 10 disc series is based on Pope JPII’s Theology of the Body. Although I have Theology of the Body I’ve never taken the time to read it. This CD series is helpful in that I’m actually listening. Anyway - I am learning quite a bit. Theology of the Body is putting pieces together in my mind and heart - these pieces are helping to answer my original question.

Well if we want to be technical no man was ever a virgin until recently, with the advent of the C-section. A woman however can preserve her virginity through birth.

Probably the only virgin male ever born was Jesus, because as Mary was preserved so was Jesus.

I’m not sure how you arrive at this conclusion. There must be something that I’m missing.
