Why was Jesus baptized?

If Baptism is meant to forgive “Original Sin”, then why was Jesus baptized? As one of the Blessed Trinity, surely Jesus did not inherit “Original Sin”. Even the Blessed Virgin was born as the Immaculate Conception. Please clear this up for me.
