My husband passed away 2 days ago after a 25 year battle with Parkinson;s disease. He was diagnosed right after my mother died it 1990. I had received a miracle from Jesus for my mother to live until 1990. I prayed to Jesus to give her 10 years of my life. My husband was diagnosed 2 weeks after her death. He was only 36. Shortly there after I was alone in the house and a voice as clear as day said to me “There will be no miracle this time”. I initially thought it was god being stern with me but the more I think about it I now think it was the devil. I need to know why God would allow the devil to lead us in 25 years of hell on earth.I need to know what others think. Thank you.

Dear friend,

The devil does not have control over life and death. Your husband carried a cross for several years and then the Lord called him home. You, understandably, miss him. But being called home by the Lord is not a bad thing. I don’t think God was being stern with you. There was no need for a miracle because your husband was probably ready for heaven, after suffering so much. I pray that you and I will be ready for heaven when He calls us.
