I am really honestly wondering why people will tell others to stay out of hteir lives when it comes to things like birth control and abortion and sex before marriage and homosexuality, but when it comes to things like whether you use LED Christmas lights or believe in the Catholic faith, the same people are more than happy to butt in and tell you how to live and what to do? Wow, talk about crazy.

And those same people seem likewise inclined to say how the money you earned must be spent or how you have to run your private businesses. That is just part of the left vs right debate.

worse than that they tell you how many children to have, and how to stop having them, tell you what to eat and what to wear, and how to raise your kids.

The first is a private and intimate type issue, the latter is not truely private or have anything inimate about it.

People don’t like to be told they’re wrong. They don’t like to think they’re wrong. It’s pride.
They don’t like to think they can do wrong or hurt someone.

If they were to come to terms with the fact that their views were contributing to peoples’ deaths, even worse, deaths of innocent babies. They would also have to come to terms with the fact that they supported murderers; perpetrators of incest; rapists; abusive families, husbands, boyfriends; supporting abortionists who are unnecessarily abusive, causing sterility and death to women(Lime5); disregard for children; increase in STDs; selfishness in marital affairs; marital infidelity; supporting a “service” which causes breast cancer, among other cancers; supporting a “service” which leads to another type of postpartum depression, which can lead to suicide; a total disregard of life; remaining neutral, if not encouraging a practice of birth control, which causes hemorrhaging; looking the other way while women are deceived, and children are killed,…

among a plethora of other grave matters that stem from abortion and contraception.

It stems from pride.

What do you mean by who’s definition!? Sex has always been a private issue.
No it has not. The notion that sex is a private matter is a modern western novelty.

Sex is the generator of children which are the future of any society and as such has always and everywhere been a matter of public concern. Laws regulating sexual access to women were among the first laws made by civilised man.

Not in the case of rape, adultry, medical records, national security, employer relations, etc.
Bet if I asked where and when as well as the details of my being concieved of my parents, I get something nasty instead of an answer… Rape is a crime, medical records are private by law, adultry is grounds for legal divorce and in the case of employer relations we are talking again about legal matters. And sex having to do with national security is a rarity. As a rule sex is a private matter.

Medical records will no longer be private with the passage of the health care take over. The others are evidence to refute your assertion that sex is strictly a private matter. The government has hand a long history in intervening into this issue which should be a private matter.

Altho they will deny it, they have a different religion. Their religion is “acceptable” because it is “based on” science.

Isn’t Christianity based on science and history also? Most of the miracles (or signs) Jesus performed were for the purpose of providing empirical objective and repeatable
proof of his divine authority. The evidence presented then was witnessed and recorded in the oral tradition and written tradition. This is no different than the scientologist and other trendy (science based religions) who also base their faith on what they have been told and what they read. How many of them have actually seen macro evolution?

Yes, that’s true–I should have put “science” in quotation marks as well 🙂
