Why did God deem it necessary to create the universe? As God is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, what did He think was missing?

God didn’t create the universe to fufill a need He had. That’s what we would do. But He is not just a bigger version of us. He is GOD and the source of all love. True love is generous. God created us as an act of loving generosity.
