Wife Actually Leaving Me Over Geographics

Greetings and God’s blessings to all here. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I posted not long ago about my wife filing for divorce after 3 months simply because she doesn’t want to move to Arizona the state where I’ve established a good living with a State job. Wishes to stay in Northern Upper Penninusla of Michigan where I’ve experienced bigotry and unable to obtain gainful employment. Spent a earlyChristmas with her and toddler children for a couple of days. She said we would discuss and work on things in our marriage. Scheduled a phone conference with her physical presence and priest who married us. She didn’t contact me and met with the priest without me. She called me later and was angry that Priest told her I was not obligated by our marriage vows to return to the area. And Geographics was something we had to work between ourselves. Which btw she promised to move here before we were married. She told me today she is going through with the divorce and I’m a "selfish jerk a##### for putting my job before our kids. " Also I don’t have a right to gainful employment. She says I gave up that right when I had kids with her. She says her “friends and support” are up there. She says I want to see my kids again . Ill work at gas a station. I must say friends I’m hurt but also livid. Who is this person I married? Also a person who still attends mass and says she is a good Catholic.

I don’t mean to sound harsh, but, a little over a decade ago I had to make a choice between following my career and moving out of state vs letting my son finish school here where I could only find a “menial” job. I chose the menial job, making around 35% of what I was making, and I do not regret it in the least.

The little lady. I appreciate your prayers. I didn’t take what you said as harsh. It’s not about money. It’s just sick and UnGodly to me that someone would choose to divorce and break sacred marriage vows over something like this. This what I’m livid about and the lies. Holding children as pieces of property to get one’s way is sick and sociopathic criminal mentality to me.
