If a woman ,having been answered by her husband or indeed any man “ I decided not to go to Communion today” persists in asking the reasons why then she needs to be told to shut up and be silent.

🤣🤣🤣
Good luck with that.

…said no husband ever.
Okay, I will correct it.

…said no husband ever, except misogynistic abusers, medieval tortures, and Islamic fundamentalists. My initial statement was geared toward Christian husbands who lived their Christianity and love their wives as Christ loves the Church.

Your stance seems to indicate that a Christian wife has right to know why her husband decides not to receive communion.?
She has no such right.

I have posted much at length, including why “rights” is not the way this issue should be approached, but rather an understanding of the sacramental nature of marriage. Like the Holy Eucharist, marriage is one of the seven sacraments.
Here we go again.
LOL. Trust me, I am not going to retype all of that.

It was this type of answer that we went up to 399 posts. Hope not ‘here we go again’. Lol.
Oh, dear Lord. This has become the most exhausting thread ever. It will continue if we, the regulars on this thread, allow it.

PLEASE, I BEG EVERYONE READING THIS THREAD FOR THE FIRST TIME, JUST TAKE OUT 5 HOURS AND READ THE ENTIRE THING. RESPECTFULLY, NOTHING MORE CAN BE SAID OR DEBATED THAT HASN’T BEEN DONE ALREADY. THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE BURIED AND FORGOTTEN. YES, SHOUTING IT FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOP!

It was ended peacefully, so please let it be. Thanks.
