Will I ever become an angel?

I’m preparing teenagers for Catholic confirmation and one of the questions I got was, “Will I ever become an angel?” That led me to the following questions. How does one become an angel? Is it similar to becoming a saint? Can anyone become an angel?
 
Angels are an entirely separate order of creature than human beings and are pure spirit. Unlike humans, they do not have bodies. Humans can never become angels and angels can never become human beings (although they may occasionally take on a human-like form when making an appearance).
