I am married for 47 years so far and now think about my death. I just believed that I would still be married to my wife when in heaven, but is that true or not?
Marriage is for this life only and ends at death. We do not yet know what our relationship with our spouses will be once we are in heaven, but we can hope that there will be a special unity with them that perfects the sacrament of matrimony, which bound the couple on earth and prepared them for union with God and with the saints in the communion of saints.
