Will only Christians be saved?

What about Bible verses such as ‘No one can come to the Father except through me’ and ‘He who has the son has life, he who does not have the son does not have life’.? I have believed that only those who have Christ will go to Heaven, and a person who has not heard of Christ or who has has not understood the message MAY be given a chance after death. What does everyone think? THANKS in advance.
