Hello; I am 61, divorced and living a single, chaste, life. I was married in a Reformed Mormon Church. Neither my husband or I were Mormon, the minister was a woman and a co-worker of my husband’s. I have no plans to remarry at this point in my life. Can I join the church and participate in the Sacraments? I believe that God has been calling me home to the Catholic Church since I was a small child. Thank you and God Bless:)

Hi,

All things being equal, the Catholic Church does recognize marriages between non-Catholics and valid. But as long as you are living a celibate life, there would be not problem for you to begin RCIA and become a Catholic. Welcome home!
