Will you please describe your feelings on the difference of entering the Kingdom of God and inheriting the Kingdom of God?

I read a Protestant view online. I would appreciate a Catholic understanding.

We strive to live in the Kingdom of God on earth, and hope to live in the Kingdom of God in heaven.
