I Have heard many Protestant Ministers say Jesus would not use alcoholic beverage. That the Greek word used in the Gospel could indicate grape juice, wine etc. Why does the Church use alcoholic wine

They would be incorrect. Wine has been a traditional part of Jewish celebrations and religious meals. It would have been quite odd for Jesus not to use wine. In fact it wasn’t until modern times that a process was developed that could prevent grapes juice from fermenting into wine. The Gospels use the phrase “fruit of the vine” to refer to what they drank at the Last Supper which could refer to grape juice before it fermented but that’s not something that would have been assumed by a reader in the 1st century. Wine was what was what Jews would have had at a Passover Meal and even most meals and considering that Jesus is recorded as turning water into wine (Jn 2:1-11) and stated that he drank wine (Lk 7:33-34) it would be highly unusual for him to suddenly switch to fresh grape juice. It would have been so odd that the Gospel authors would have most likely made a big deal and St Paul would have most likely made a big deal to point out not to use grape juice that had fermented yet they do no such thing.
