HMMM! Again…a respirator isn’t always extraordinary nor is the feeding tube.Terry did not need help to breath. She just needed the same help a baby needs…she needed fed.

Thanks to an Iron Lung…for-runner of a respirator many of us are alive and going strong today. Thank goodness you were not in charge of the electricity… 🙂 That machine was a life saver. 😉

Let’s give all the doctors a two thumbs up, all of the infalliable doctors. What would we do without them? Yeah ok, she’s brain dead so let’s STARVE HER TO DEATH!!! Let’s MURDER HER!!! Let the husband who has another woman, and kids by her, tell us the truth. And now le’ts begin this process of death for other individuals.

On the radio today they were saying it IS STILL a mystery on how she was put in that state in the first place. But God knows. Nevertheless, why could not her parents have taken care of her in hopes that she would recover? Miracles still happen. Oh but I see, the infalliable doctors had spoken.

J.W.B…we in the medical community Know that M.D. stands for Medical diety.

As Catholics we have to follow the teachings of our Pope…and his very last teaching before he died, was to declare that Food and water are not extrodinary means! PERIOD. Is that infallible? Probably not…but we are talking about a very Godly man who was our teacher…good enough for me.
 
The support we see for the judge’s order and Michael has nothing to do with euthanasia, Terri’s medical condition, the judge, the husband, the family…it is all about one thing:

Beating those hypocritical holy-than-thou Christians who gave Bill Clinton a hard time and defeated John Kerry in the last election.

That is what the gloating is about. Sticking it the radical religious right. Showing those “white Christians” as Howard Dean calls them, a thing or two.

That is what returning Elian to Cuba was about too. Telling those Cuban Catholic “gusanos” (worms) in Miami that their God they thought saved Elian from drowning isn’t as powerful as they think.

A very important point. The term “brain dead” is being tossed around irresponsibility. Perhaps on purpose. Perhaps to lower the bar. A doctor on O’Reilly misused the term last night. Misuse is all over the place.

Some of the criteria needed to be termed “brain dead”:

No sponantious respiration. A flat electroencephalogram(no electrical activity in the brain). No cranial nerve reflexes. No response to pain. No oculocephalic or corneal reflexes.

Obviously, Terri was not brain dead. She would have been on a respirator had she been. Those who discuss this should at least get the medical nomenclature correct
 
No human life should be deprived of food and water. Period.

If a body is given food and water and can function on its own, then that person is meant to live IMO.

Not a good choice in quotes and no apology for the way you talked to her. Can you at least spell her name right?

I believe the poor woman posted a critical remark about me, if I recall correctly. She is probably to young to have seen the Wizard of Oz movie, where the wicked witch was pronounced dead and everyone sang “Ding dong the witch is dead.” The people were rejoicing that they were now free.

                                  I was not referring to Terry Shivo at all, but Liza 4Catholic ASSUMED I was and for that she is guilty of false judgment and hatred towards a Catholic brother who never intended what she imagined. Besides, the Terry Shivo case has now been officially settled. The husband is innocent, despite what Terry Shivo's parents and Lisa4 may deny and there was no foul play on the husband's part. 

                                     Also the MEDICAL examiners  stated that even IF the tube would have remained and water was given to her, she would have made no progress. Her brain capacity was to far gone and the poor woman was blind all along. She was just reacting by motor reactions of the body itself.

                                     I know there are people like Liza4 who cannot accept death of celebrity figures. Many still can't believe Elvis is dead. But the King is not in the house. These are just FACTS of life. I believe Liza4 is the one who needs to apologize to me for passing a false judgment on my character. Please reread her post.

A natural assumption. see above. Hatred? No! One can be incredibly angry(as others were) and still not hate the person. Have you read the court documents? Have you read the medical records and testimony? Did you read the ME’s report, or just what the media said that it said. As I said earlier, the end of the report said that this case is NOT over.

Look at your post any one who read it would assume the same thing,and no it is not settled at all the Medical examiner says he would like to see more records that were not given to him by Michaels lawyer,and the basis of Michaels lawsuit is fraudulant,she did not have a heart attack and did not have bulimea.

Finally Elvis is dead I live in Memphis,I know Terri is dead too,she was killed by her husband with the help of the court she died in a horrible and cruel and unjust manner,aman who starved his cow in Florida is serving 5 years in prison for it,but Terri was to the world worthless,I saw a child of God embrasing the cross:nope: And no I will not forget the injustice done to her or the 4,000 children that die everyday from abortion,both innocent and both die because they are considered a burden and no longer human.
 
Then both of you need to apologize to me for slander and passing false judgment. Plus you need to go to your priest and confess your sin. For verbal malice made to a Catholic brother is a mortal sin.

If she were brain dead, Michael could not have kept her alive EVEN IF HE WANTED TO!

I cant see how any evidence uncovering that required the murder to take place, i.e. the autopsy, can be used to justify the act of murder itself.

It would be like saying, lets murder all brain damaged people on the assumption that a certain number of them upon autopsy after the fact would be proven to have needed murdering.

And on the issue of your post. If it was my loved one that was murdered, and someone expressed relief that they considered the case now closed and they now rejoice in that fact by saying “ding dong the witch is dead” I would say they had a calouse disregard for human dignity. This is just me I guess and I am speaking hypothetically.

About the inability to make progress. Lord please protect me when the day comes that I stop making progress, for people are very critical and will murder me if I don’t look I will make progress, for they know that I am less human than they since they make progress every day.
