I’m a foodie.

Hubby is not.

Hubby’s good friend, however, is so when I have a hankering to be creative, I do it when he’s over so I know I’ll have someone to at least try it.

I was super creative and made some Tika Masala Broccoli (it involved mustard and greek yogurt, too)

So.
Heinously.
Gross.

I choked it down.

However, hubby’s friend LOVED it. Ate a ton and wanted the recipe, which I gave him

Just sent a message to hubby and I thanking us for dinner and saying he hoped we made it every time.

😓

I’m all too familiar with the gag reflexes of the people that I regularly cook for.

Be happy, that hubby’s friend liked it…Next time he comes over make something you really like, tell him it’s a new recipe you wanted to try…I don’t know what the other,. food is but I love greek yogurt Maybe when your stomach settles I’ll ask for the recipe. Smile, Easter is coming and I wish you and yours a Blessed Day.🦋🦋

Tika Masala is an Indian food. I’ve been experimenting with foods from their cultures.

I added alot more greek yogurt. It was 3 tablespoons tiki masala to what ended up being about a cup of greek yogurt and a teaspoon of mustard. Tossed with lightly steamed broccoli.

Since you gave him the recipe I wouldn’t worry about making it every time or even frequently. He can always make it for himself at home. If you feel like being generous, maybe you can make it for him occasionally with something more appetizing for yourself and your husband but that’s entirely up to you.

Haha at least someone enjoyed it! I once tortured several relatives at once with a miserable chocolate dessert. They ate it to be polite, but the expression of martyrdom was the same on every face!

I’M STARVING!!! JUST GOT HOME FROM CHURCH!

Get me some noodles, STAT!

I hope you ate, woman.I was so hungry yesterday as I had coffee and didn’t eat breakfast …and felt weak !Low in sugar or something.
I must admit I make a pretty good lasagna (my kids tell me I do ) and when I short cut one time, the only time
my children picked it up straight away and accused me 😁 They have pretty high standards now.

I ate some mac n cheese…comfort food then fell into bed. Everything hurt.Soooooo tired. Finishing the rosaries for the RCIA folks today. Then all that music tonight for Holy Thursday!

Excellent! You now have a willing tester for your food experiments!
