Women in the Draft

Look, when I got out of the Army, the men getting out had to sign their selective service bit. At the time (I was only 21) I wondered why I didn’t have to do the same. The military expect the women to be as combat ready as the men. Well, unless the Marines have changed their bit. When I was in, as a truck driver, me and one of my roommates, and a few of our men, were dispatched to support some marines. It ended up that the two of us were the only women out there. The marines didn’t require the women go out into the field. Which I thought was stupid. After all, like I"ve said earlier, women have been caught in combat situtations. I really don’t know why you guys are being such jerks about this. It is what it is, if you don’t like it, go change it.

We are…by spreading the word to have Congress pass a law that makes women register.

Why not then lobby to have Selective Service abolished?

Why should we do that? It may be necessary. We just want women, our equal partners, to play by the same rules and have the same obligations. The Israeli women are conscripted. They make it work and so can American women. I think many American women are quite fine with sending men out to do the dirty work while they sit home in comfort and luxury.

Have you ever thought that God might not want it to be the way you want it to be? During Old Testament times, it was always the men who went to war. Rarely was it known for a woman to join in the battle. God made us different, but He also made us equal. It isn’t for some bone head to try to make things difficult by saying we have it easy. I am pretty sure God doesn’t want anyone going to war. God also did not make me a killing machine to be used by governments. He did give me FREE WILL. I would gladly fight if this country stood for something godly but it doesn’t anymore.

Also, Old Testament is out. We live under Christ now which is the New Testament. The simple fact is you do have less obligation to the government. If you would like to propose some obligation that women as equal partners should use their God given gifts to fulfill please tell what it is. Seems like women get a TON of choice but men are the one that pay with their lives for that choice. If you really want to go Old Testament though, when are women going to honor men as the Bible teaches?

I am pretty sure God doesn’t want anyone going to war. God also did not make me a killing machine to be used by governments. He did give me FREE WILL. I would gladly fight if this country stood for something godly but it doesn’t anymore.

LOL! I love it when women try to exploit a man’s pride to get him to do something. Must be a feminine defense mechanism. Someone should do a study on it…

Listen dear, we’ve been listening for decades to the feminists telling us we suffer from “testosterone poisoning” and they worked darn hard to eliminate “male behavior.” Mission well done! Thanks to feminism and its daughters men no longer see anything worth protecting in women so no need for “testosterone fueled battles.” The upside to this is that you can launch all the White Feather Girl campaigns you want to shame us and we are just going to stick them back on you!

Men used to get their muster up to defend women when women actually respected and appreciated them. That is what fueled a man’s desire to protect. When that respect evaporated due to feminist heat so did the desire to protect. After all, feminists say women don’t need men. Wish they would have said so in the cave days!! As we see today (and in your comment), women think male life is theirs to manipulate and exploit without having to make any meaningful sacrifice in return. This sense of entitlement is one reason why society is so broken today.

Hey all,
I have been thinking about this article about drafting women. Personally, I am all for it because we are equal after all. The comments on the article are rather interesting though. Lots of women are calling men cowards for wanting to send women into battle. Of coarse they don’t know that Israel drafts women and Britain did it in WWII though those women got desk jobs. I was wondering what all of you think though.

I didn’t need to be drafted in order to serve in the military or deploy to a warzone twice. I think women should be eligible for the draft. Who’s skirt am I supposed to be hiding behind? Lady Justice’s?

I’d say most women adopt that philosophy. They make a false god out of their ability to bare life and use it as an excuse to get whatever they want. Then they expect men to sacrifice at the alter of their womb even though MANY hold views that are hostile to life in that womb. Even more will think nothing of going against the contraception ban to remain barren but again men are still expected to worship at the alter of the womb. All I can say is human beings are a non-essential species on this planet. Ants, algae, etc are more important to sustaining life than human beings. In fact, we are more detrimental to that life if anything. I think its time we re-evaluate just how much leeway we give women because of the baby carrying thing. Science isn’t far off from artificial womb’s. They already have viable ones for sharks. Once that’s off the table then women will have to find another excuse for their actions…

LOL! Oh, I don’t worship nature! God gives us purpose in this world. I do not think it wise to challenge His order. I just used that as an example to bring the heroine off her high horse for some humble pie. I think carrying babies is a great thing but should not be used as a bargaining chip. That is an unholy use of the womb.

True…unfortunetly though many guys for a “few pieces of silver” sold their sperm to a sperm bank so women have access to that (if they can afford it of coarse). Commoditization of the human being.
