I just finished reading Orson Scott Card’s “Women of Genesis” trilogy, consisting of Sarah, Rebekah, and Rachel and Leah.

They are all interesting. The accounts in the Bible are so bare-bones that they give a novelist plenty of room to flesh out the characters and I think Card does a good job, especially with the family relationships and rivalries. Some will probably think he takes too many liberties, but that’s a mater of taste.
 
I LOVE Orson Scott Card. I’ll have to put these on my “to read” list. Would you say they’re worth reading?

Orson Scott Card is a good writer – and one modern Sci-Fi author who treats faith and religion very seriously, and has sympathetic and believable religious characters.

He himself is a practicing Mormon. See the following link from adherents.com
