I’m trying to get some background information, possibly for a future article. Many dioceses have their human resources manuals online, but how many actually follow them? Anecdotal evidence suggests that church musicians in particular are most likely to be let go for no reason, especially in “right to work” states. Additionally, termination processes are not followed, even blatantly ignored.
