Is it ok to translate a short passage for somebody on a holy day or Sunday? (This is on an online forum, somebody is asking for help translating some correspondence or something)
I don’t see why it would be, provided this activity will not prevent your attendance at the Eucharistic Sacrifice, especially if you can give a reasonable translation off the top of your head.
Now, for some bit of technical writing, or a serious business letter that requires more thought, maybe that should be done at another time…but I’m in no position to give a hard and fast rule about it.
