Working for a company that supports the cannabis industry

I saw a job position for a company that makes computer software for the cannabis industry. Would working for such a company be a sin?
 
No.

Catholic theology, AFAIK, views weed the same as alcohol - fine in moderation and when used in accordance with one’s local laws.

It also has medicine value like opioids. It’s a natural plant that can be used for our benefit. There isn’t anything wrong with that.
 
The standard of judgement is vis a vis wine for all drugs. We are not puritans. There are other considerations also. The Church has these teachings in tradition. Wine, a drug, plays a central role in our daily worship.

Well, he made a few hundred gallons of wine for a wedding… He certainly wasn’t a teetotaler haha
 
Maybe there is something better you can find. Its not legal in every state. It does grave harm to your body and to your mind. The government is trying to push it for medical reasons so that they can then push it for recreational use. I know people in Coloardo and they say its not a good idea. Hey if most people are high, they won’t care too much about what’s really going on around them.

I’m convinced he would have, and would have wholeheartedly approved of it. I’ve had some of the deepest spiritual experiences of my life after partaking of brownies.
