Working on Sunday

I have spoken to my pastor and a neighboring church pastor explaining my situation. Both priests agree that there would no sin if I worked the weekend shift. I am battling scrupulosity so this is really hard for me to just accept that its OK. I see in the posts above CC 1281 and Can 1245; that seems like a special case. I could use a little reassurance that this is a common practice in the Church.
I recommend going to Mass during the week if you can. This way you would still be able to receive the Eucharist as well as participate in the other parts of the Mass, even though it would be shorter and have different readings, etc. If you have some time on Sunday (during your lunch break for example), how about taking a look at the Sunday Mass readings and reflecting on them? I think the combination of attending one or a few weekday Masses, as well as meditating on the Sunday Mass readings may help you feel better about not being able to make it to Sunday Mass.🙂

That is the way I think, and sometimes when our church is full of people at a mass I go home, and do a prayer; because with many people around me I cannot concetrate me as I can at home.
Leaving Mass because the church is full is not an acceptable way to fulfill one’s Sunday obligation. This would count as missing Mass. You would need to get to church earlier to find a seat or find another Mass that is less crowded.

I am a little bit late; I was out of time before.
I would like to change my suggestion I have given before. You can get the reassurance from God itself, or as I do from all Saints. They hear your every prayer and if you are willing to do things according to their will and ask them for it you will do everything as it is right, also what concerns working on Sundays.
I asked all the saint if it is right that Sundays should be especially dedicated to rest, to family, friends, relatives, oral praying amd such things. And the answer was that it is right. So I do not work on Sundays.
Go to God, he knows what is best for you and us all. Ask him to lead you through your life and for you to follow him as it is right. In this way you do not have to fear any hell or mistakes. Be diligent, try to get better as much as you can, God likes to help such people. 😉
