Greetings:

I can barely remember when most busineses were closed on Sundays in the US. What happened? Is it now acceptable to do such things on the Lord’s day? (Excluding of course, public safety, restaurants, etc.).

Thanks in advance for any comments.

No, shopping and similar activities are still sinful.

I think about the good old days every Sunday morning on my way to church. They were really good. Sigh

I was shocked to hear that Chic-fil-a restaurant is closed on Sundays. I plan on supporting them on the rare occasion we eat out.for that reason alone. I wonder if the owner is Catholic? I know a member in my parish owns one or several Chic-fil-a restaurants.

I heard somewhere…though this could be just rumors…that Chic-Fil-A is owned by Mormons. In which case I guess this speaks pretty well of them huh? In any Case, it is admirable.

Oh yeah…and I agree!
Not only that…their chicken sandwich is pretty good too!
