What works of Mercy do you practice? Why?

The Spiritual and Corporal works of Mercy are a grace that we can give to our brothers and sisters whether it is to shelter, to visit, to comfort, to forgive. God’s abundant Love comes with every Work of Mercy. I find great joy in being able to bring this gift and share it’ In return I have felt the Love of God through the ones we have bestowed His gifts on and I’ve had them given to me… God Bless all.🦋🦋🦋

I can’t help but think that the “Visit the imprisoned” thing has more to do with why the person is in prison than the mere fact that the person is in prison.

Personally; I do mainly the spiritual works of mercy, as I believe God made me into a spiritual warrior. As for the corporal works; I need to do more of those.

Thank you for posting the lists, OP.

I don’t do any of them on a regular basis, but I have done most of them over the years.
Still, Cajun is correct, I too, can search out more ways to do all of them.

It doesn’t really matter why they are in there, or what they did. True mercy is the visit, the acknowledgement that they deserve mercy just because they are one of God’s children. He shows us his mercy whether we deserve it or not.
