I am a veteran of renewal programs and attempts in several parishes. The best means I have seen for fostering real parish renewal is institution of Perpetual Adoration, or at least regular (no less than weekly) holy hours. the work of organizing and getting commitments and following up on keeping commitments fosters community building, and the Adoration of course fuels the work of Christ being carried out in all the various charisms and ministries.

We know from the saints, most recently from Mother Teresa, that no one who aspires to perform great deeds of charity for the sake of Christ can be successful for long who does not first immerse oneself in the Eucharist and adoration of Christ in the sacrament.

I was wondering about that. How should I approach the pastor about having Adoration with some frequency throughout the year?
