World Youth Day 2016 in Krakow, Poland

Hello fellow Eastern Catholics.

I think the next world youth day would be a perfect opportunity for us Eastern Catholics to make our presence within the Catholic Church known. For that reason I have decided I am going to try and go to the next world youth day. It would be awesome if a group from this section of the forum could go.

I went to WYD in Madrid, Spain, my only complaint is that by the end of my 3 week pilgrimage I had my passport/wallet stolen and I missed my plane! Overall, the experience was good, but it can be physically draining (there’s a lot of walking involved, many destinations to visit, the heat to contend with. . . . ). I’ll be 40 by then, although I still kind of want to go despite my age!

P.s. You’ve got nothing to lose if you go, you’ll love the experience!

I think this is an awesome idea. My days of going to WYD are over (did Sydney and Madrid) but it would be amazing to see a huge contingent of Eastern Catholics there.
