I recently saw a thread here and someone referred to our worship being directed st a man. This got me thinking about worshipping JESUS, and though i didn’t stop because of this, it at least confused me: are we worshipping a man when we worship JESUS and if so is it acceptable because he is fully GOD too and those nature’s are inseparable? Thanks

GOD bless!

Yes, you are always worshipping the Three Persons in One God. If you worship any one of the three persons (God the Father, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit) you are necessarily also worshipping the other 2 even though you don’t name them.

I guess what I’m asking is why it’s not bad to worship a man: what i seem to be getting is that it’s because he is also GOD, right? Thanks

GOD bless!

So, Muslims and Jews worship Jesus when they worship YHWH or Allah? 🤔

We worship the God-Man, the Son of Man and Son of God, the Son of Mary and Son of David, the Word of God made flesh, Jesus of Nazareth, the Christ of the Most High God.

The Person we worship is the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, the Divine Word, the Logos. Jesus has both a divine and a human nature, but he is only one Person, and that Person is the Second Person of the Trinity.
