Would I be sinning by being ordained SSPX

Naturally I was not referring to the innocent kind of visitation, but the kind which arrives on mission to shut down a traditionalist organisation just because it is traditionalist. This has happened more than once.
When, and to whom? Has the SSPX ever had such a visitation?

I do have to wonder what they do about emergency sick calls that take place Monday through Friday. Does anyone here know?
An SSPX priest I know in London was suddenly the nearest priest when he got an emergency call for Scotland. He drove there in the middle of the night.
Edit: this of course means he put aside his ordinary duties for this extraordinary one.

Yes, I feel the discussion will be laid back and relaxed. Not heated or hysterical at all.
Oh look.
Another inflammatory hypothetical topic, masquerading as serious Catholic discussion. . . .

What these threads are is promotions for groups and sects and talking heads with you tube channels. Maybe I should throw my computer in the Tiber.

I’ll admit this thread has gotten a bit off topic (as these SSPX posts tend to do), but I don’t think anyone in this thread have been either inflammatory or “masquerading as serious Catholic discussion.” It’s lucky if you think that it’s not of interest to most people, that they can just scroll on. 😉

In Argentina, then Cardinal Bergoglio went out of his way to help them in a way that I could never imagine a North American or European bishop do.

I don’t foresee any controversy or disagreement coming in this thread.
Certainly not. This is one of the most unifying topics out there!
Seriously, the thread has been fairly positive. My tongue in cheek post recalled past negativity by both pro, and anti SSPX peeps.

For me, posts that refer to the present are far more persuasive than countless ones fixated like a laser on Vatican 2, early 1970s, and 1988. Ignorance of history hurts us, but so does a selective obsession.

Families rarely get mentioned in these threads. Is it better to bring up children in SSPX, compared to some other orthodox Catholic community?
