Would this be considered lust?

Hi I’m a teenage boy and was on Instagram earlier today. I went onto the app with an intention to see what my freinds were posting not in any way to lust or anything. Well anyway I somehow stumbled across an image of a girl who was in a bikini and was very attractive. I then went through her other images and while doing this I was not imagining anything else about her, but I realized that this could be sinful so I closed out of the app and deleted it in case it happens again. I’m now very upset and worried because I just went to confession recently and I’m unsure if I will have the chance to go again with the virus and everything. Can someone please say if they believe this was mortal sin?

You’ve already asked this in another thread. Call your priest and ask to talk about this, not strangers on the internet. If you are a minor, you should discuss this with your parents. Even though it may be uncomfortable, they have more wisdom than you think!

Didn’t you post the exact same question earlier?

Do you guys think this was a mortal sin Moral Theology
So I was on instagram and then I noticed a picture of a woman who was in a bathing suit. . . . I then clicked her profile and started scrolling through some of her photos and after a bit I noticed what I was doing could become sinful so I closed out of the app and also decided to delete it.
Sorry, I initially posted the wrong link by mistake, as you have two threads with almost identical titles. This was the other one:

Someone please tell me if this is mortal sin Moral Theology
First of all I’m not sure if I chose the right category so sorry about that. Can someone please tell me if this was a mortal sin for me I’m really worried. So I spent the night at my freinds house and I could kind of tell what he was about to search up on his tv. And he went onto po*n on the TV and I looked for like 2 seconds it was before he started the video but I could see the like thumbnails of the videos and I’m not sure if I saw anything or not, but I looked quick and then looked away. Wou…

Sorry about asking again I just wish someone would say if they believe or not(I’m hoping for no)

Yes sorry I just asked again because the only answer I got was ask a priest but it’s pretty hard to do that during these times with the virus

Do your parents approve of you asking questions about lust online to strangers on the internet?

Because we aren’t priests and have no idea if you are scrupulous or not plus we can’t give advice or determination of sin…especially to a minor.

You just want opinions? Ok…I say it’s not a sin…but I’m not catholic. So what help is that?

Can priests be contacted by phone or email? I would guess so. I am also not a Catholic, so I don’t know, but I can’t imagine that priests are any harder to contact than anyone else.

Sorry for asking the same question everyone I’m just worried that I’m in a state of mortal sin or not

You can contact priests. You cannot confess unless it’s in person.

I don’t know of any jurisdictions where the local parish is not able to have confessions.

And that is where you need to go.

Actually during lockdowns there wasn’t confession within 500 miles of me.

And since then there have been lawsuits decided which tend strongly towards First Amendment rights, which is slowing down some of the obvious discrimination.

You need to calm down. Make a good act of contrition. Relax. You indulged curiosity, it’s connected with lust but is in your case quite evidently venial sin.

Oh. I didn’t realize it was fixed.
Is confession available at all L.A. Churches this weekend?

I’m no expert but I don’t think looking at pictures of a pretty girl in a bikini is a mortal sin.
