Who needs Bill Gates? No, I don’t mean who needs a gazillionaire corporate titan, a man whose company, Microsoft, took in billions of dollars last year by controlling nearly all the software used to run nearly every computer on the planet.
No, I mean, literally, who needs him? If you could go back in time and stop the birth of the world’s most famous nerd, would you?

Not sure what you mean by “allowing” a person to be born. None of us have that option, only God does.

Bill Gates’ brilliant mind has advanced our society. He’s made billions of dollars and he and his wife give most of it away each year to humanitarian causes.

Check it out and you’ll see that he gives millions (if not billions) of dollars away each year to all sorts of good causes. I’d say that the world is a better place because of Bill Gates.

😃 Sratus Rose,
I didn’t read the article before I replied to your post. I thought they were your words and thoughts. Sorry, I haven’t had my coffee yet this morning 🙂

Why would I go back in time and stop anyone from being born? I don’t think it would even be morally OK to stop a mass murderer from being born; after all, God knew what everyone would do, and yet he still created them…

Hehe…I was reading your first post and was dreadfully confused. None of those words were mine, I just thought it was an interesting article.

Uh… I hadn’t had my morning coffee and I was a little groggy. I worked last night until 10:00 :o

Great thread and again, I’m sorry. I’m embarrassed. :o
