Greetings,

I’ve always wondered, have you guys wished fir God Almighty to elect someone who shall be a Messenger and Prophet and who shall come to you to teach you how to do good deeds during a World War? And so that you will be taught rulings of how to uss tanks, machine guns, bombing airplanes and so on without committing treachery and injustice? So that you can also do good deeds even during a battlefied and so that you also be taught the basics of war and how to be a righteous supreme commander and how to be a righteous soldier that does not do treachery and injustice?

Because, I believe that even the basics of war comes from God, because He Himself knows what is best for a supreme commander to do and what is best for a sergent and soldier to do in such a way that pleases God.

What you think of this?

Jesus Christ did - the war against sin - to practice charity, which is also applied in just defense of others.

Matthew 5:
38 You have heard that it hath been said: An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth. 39 But I say to you not to resist evil: but if one strike thee on thy right cheek, turn to him also the other: 40 And if a man will contend with thee in judgment, and take away thy coat, let go thy cloak also unto him. 41 And whosoever will force thee one mile, go with him other two. 42 Give to him that asketh of thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not away.
Matthew 10:
34 Do not think that I came to send peace upon earth: I came not to send peace, but the sword. 35 For I came to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 36 And a man’s enemies shall be they of his own household.
Matthew 26:
51 And behold one of them that were with Jesus, stretching forth his hand, drew out his sword: and striking the servant of the high priest, cut off his ear.52 Then Jesus saith to him: Put up again thy sword into its place: for all that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
Matthew 5:
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are the meek: for they shall possess the land.
5 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
6 Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after justice: for they shall have their fill.
7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
8 Blessed are the clean of heart: they shall see God.
9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
10 Blessed are they that suffer persecution for justice’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11 Blessed are ye when they shall revile you, and persecute you, and speak all that is evil against you, untruly, for my sake:
12 Be glad and rejoice for your reward is very great in heaven. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.
Also from St. Paul to the Romans 12:
19 Revenge not yourselves, my dearly beloved; but give place unto wrath, for it is written: Revenge is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord. 20 But if thy enemy be hungry, give him to eat; if he thirst, give him to drink. For, doing this, thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head.
Hebrews 10
30 For we know him that hath said: Vengeance belongeth to me, and I will repay. And again: The Lord shall judge his people. 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Deuteronomy 32
35 Revenge is mine, and I will repay them in due time, that their foot may slide: the day of destruction is at hand, and the time makes haste to come.
