Wrist chain for laymen?

I noticed that one of my priests used small wrist chains. I later read that it was symbolic of being a slave for Christ. I like that symbolism. Are laymen allowed to use this or is it only for priests?

It sounds like a personal devotional thing – I’ve never noticed any priests I know wearing one, or that it’s a thing reserved to priests.

It can be part of the Marian Consecration, and no, it’s not limited to priests.
