Does anyone know if there are any hard copy texts of the writings of the Early Church Fathers available? Any compilations? If not, websites would be fine too, but I would prefer hard copies if they are available anywhere.

I have the three volume set The Faith of the Early Fathers by William Jurgens. It’s very good. It’s divided up into three periods and there is a very good topical index as well.

I have heard excellent things about The Four Witnesses by Rod Bennett as well.

There’s another one I am picturing… I think it’s called The Early Church Fathers, but I can’t remember who the author is.

This website gives references from the ECF’s as well as the Bible on topics related to our Faith.

William Jurgens’ The Faith of the Early Fathers, a three volume set of extensive excerpts from their writings, would be a good place to start. Jurgens’ work and also Early Christian Writings, which gives the entire works of the earliest Fathers, are both available through the Catholic Answers online store.
 
Try looking in the library. At the University where I’m at you can get the books in the original Greek or Latin.
 
Anyone have a comment on The Teachings of the Church Fathers by John R. Willis, SJ.?

I consider this web site far superior to early church fathers by Williams Jurgens because the web site organizes the quotes by the early church fathers by doctrine.
